HEAD INSTRUCTOR/OWNER – RENSHI ANGELA FICE

Renshi Fice has been studying in the martial arts for over 38 years. Renshi Fice has a 7th Dan in Shaolin-Do Kempo Karate, 7th Dan with Peaceful Warrior Black Belts (Hanshi Ray Battle), 6th Dan in Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Karate, 5th Dan in  E & T Martial Arts, 3rd Dan in Kempo Ju-Jitsu,  3rd Dan with the I.B.T.F. and a 1st Dan in Ladies Cardio Self Defense.

Renshi Fice is also the founder and head instructor of Sho Do Ryu Karate.
Renshi Fice
is the mother of four children giving her the unique ability to develop a special relationship with the younger students. As the mother of a special needs child, she has an incredible understanding of individual needs, expectations and potential limitations.

Renshi Fice has acquired her American Sign Language certificate and worked for Grandview Children’s Centre as one of the Martial Arts Directors.

Renshi Fice has been inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame – International Instructor of the Year 2005 and Canadian Women’s Competitor of the Year 2005. Renshi Fice was awarded  Martial Arts Woman of the Year 2007 by the World Karate Union Hall of Fame in July of 2007. Renshi Fice was awarded an International Merit Award from the Global Martial Arts Hall of Fame in August 2007. Renshi Fice was Inducted into the Global Martial Arts Hall of Fame August 2008. Renshi Fice was more recently inducxted into Clarington Sports Hall of Fame.

Renshi Fice represented Team Canada in the Dominican Republic in January 2006. Renshi Fice represented Team Canada in January 2007 in Florida. Renshi Fice and Silent Tiger Martial Arts were  awarded the 2007 Founders Award by the WFMA. Renshi Fice sat on the Global Martial Arts Board from 2007 until the death of Prof Ed McLachlan.

Renshi Fice was ranked top in her division for sparring, weapons and forms in the World Fraternity of Martial Arts for 2006.

Renshi Fice is currently holding the rank of 7th dan and title of Kyoshi She has 5 inductions into Martial Arts/Sports Halls of Fame.

Renshi Fice was the Assistant Coach for Team Canada with the WCMA in 2010 and 2011.  She held a board position and Executive Board position with the WCMA in 2010 and 2011.

Renshi Fice won two gold and a silver medal at the WCMA Goodwill games in Mexico, 2010.

Renshi Fice competed and won at the WCMA 2011 World Games.

Renshi Fice was appointed as  the Head Coach for Team Canada with the International Chinese Boxing Association.

Sensei Rachel has been training in the martial arts for 20 years.

Sensei Rachel is the head Weapons Instructor.

Sensei Rachel is a fourth Dan black belt and 5 time Canadian and World Champion.

Sensei Rachel has earned the title of Daichi at Silent Tiger Martial Arts.

Sensei Ryan has been in training in Kempo karate for over 17 years. He is a 3rd Dan black belt. Sensei Ryan competes on a provincial and international level.

Sensei Ryan is an ambitious and dedicated instructor who is constantly exploring many forms of martial arts. He is the Head Sparring Instructor and takes an active role with students who compete locally, provincially and internationally.
